More new ATTACK Drumheads!!

That’s right! It’s another new day for new heads!

Did I need them? Did I wear out my last set? Nope! I just wanted to try some new ones.

So I gave Mark from Cardinal percussion a call and I asked what types of new heads I should give it a try. He said “you got to give the Tone Ridge 2’s a try!”. So that’s just what I’m going to do!

They look like the Eric singer snare head. They’ve got like an embossed Ridge on it. I’m not sure what the purpose of it is but I’m looking forward to giving it a shot!

About the same time, I got a call from my good buddy Tom Van Ripen about him wanting to try some new heads on his studio kit down at lost studios. I said hey let me buy a set will put them on the studio and see how they sound.  And that’s just what I did 🙂

And I know, I haven’t been able to make the videos that I wanted to make showing off the Eric Singer snare drum head. But if you saw the progress we’re making on the basement, you’d understand.

New videos will be coming soon. I’m going to start off with the snare heads that I’ve gotten from Attack drum heads.  After those are done, we’re going to reskin the python with the Tone Ridge 2 heads and seeing how she sinks her teeth I to those!

If you are in P-town, drop by Revival drums and pick up some quality vintage drum gear. Everything  from pedal pieces, strange bits of hardware, to full vintage kits.

And of course, get those overpriced heads off your kid and get some decent heads for good tone durability and volume.  Attack Drumheads are the only heads for me!!
