10 days of pivitol albums

I’ve taken some time off (got married) and haven’t gotten to get back into getting drum vids up. But a Facebook friend of mine has been doing posts of  10 pivitol albums.  I thought, great idea!  And I should be completed with this about the time that my drum vids will be starting… So here it is:
‘Day 1 of ten days. 10 all-time favorite albums that really made an impact and are still on your rotation list, even if only now and then. Post the cover, no need to explain.’ARK CD
It blew my mind when I heard it on www.reignradio.com late 1990. It changed everything for me, and I’ve been (as you know) on the ‘band’wagon ever since. Complex rhythmns, guitar and bass work that blew you mind, keyboard work that threaded everything together, and not only my introduction to the BEST vocalist of all time, Jorn, but also to an incredible drummer, John Macaluso.
The first of only two albums, Ark has been on my playlist for 20 years, and I am sure that it will be there for years to come.  My favorite song? It’s such a toss up.  Burn the sun would be tied with Missing You, a 9 minute long comples ballad filled with so much imagery, you wouldn’t think these guys are not native English speakers. Just listen, and you will understand!
Truely a pivitol recording in my library!!
Ok, one down, nine to go. I’ll have to see if I have some favs from singing drummers!!!
